Illinois Tax Day Tea Party was a co-sponsor for the first "Tea Party Campaign School" held in in Riverside Illinois on May 8th. The all day event was coordinated and hosted by Cook County Tea Party Coordinator, Laurie Hellmer. The Leadership Institute provided the training to many leaders from around the state who came together to learn how to "engage" the political process via the campaign system. Laurie has championed the the cause for the Tea Parties further education in the political process.
